Appointments

Salon Silk recommends that clients take the time to reschedule their next appointment(s) before they
leave the salon in effort to reserve the date and time that best fits your schedule. ​If appointments aren’t
available during your desired date and time, we will add your name to a cancellation list and in the event
of a cancellation,​you will be contacted by phone, email, or text.

Services Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your color and cutting service, please call and schedule a complimentary redo within three days. The redo policy doesn’t cover a change in the style or color. Full service price applies after three days. All guarantees will be determined by the stylist. We do not offer refunds for any hair services. Salon Silk will not be liable nor redo hair color that has been done outside of our salon.  Corrective color usually requires more than one service to achieve desired results.  Because of the nature of home-coloring products, we cannot guarantee color services if the client has previously had color done outside of our salon.

Salon Etiquette & Children

Salon Silk reserves the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct, tardiness, no shows, or any other situation we deem inappropriate. Our waiting area is cozy, and will only accommodate a few people. Please limit the number of people who are waiting for you during your appointment. Children are not allowed in the salon at any time unless they are receiving a service cannot be left unattended in the salon. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Products

There are no exchanges, returns or refunds brushes, discounted items & Gift Cards.

Payment Method

We accept the following: Cash, Personal Checks, Visa, and Master Card, and Discover. There will be a
$25 service Fee for all returned checks.

COVID-19

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, if you are not feeling well, we ask that you quarantine 14 days prior to coming in to the salon for your appointment. We also ask that when traveling, if you are coming from a state listed on NJ’s travel advisory list, you book your appointment 14 days from when you return.

Confirmations

Confirmation calls will be made 48 hrs prior to your appointment. We ask that you please confirm your appointment at least 24 hrs in advance.

Lates

In the event that you are running behind for your appointment, any time over 10 minutes maybe result in a change of service or a need to reschedule.

Cancellations

Whether you contact the salon or the stylist directly, we require a 24 hr notice for all appointment cancellations. And cancellations made after the 24 hr mark may result in a $25.00 fee.

No Call, No Show

While it is not always possible to contact a client directly, every effort will be made to confirm your appointment in advance. If you do not contact us to either cancel or reschedule and also do not show up for your appointment, this will result in the $25.00 cancellation fee being enforced and your stylist may require a deposit for any future bookings.
